Men's Golf

Golf is the only NJCAA sport that is co-ed. Although men and women compete on the same team, they do not compete against each other. The golf team was conference champion in 1998. Five members of Hawk golf team in the 90's are currently teaching professionals. The current Head Coach is Pete Rose.

Beautiful Dearborn Country Club is the home golf course for the Hawks. Admission is free to HFCC gold matches. The season runs from March 10 – May 15.

Golf coach, Pete Rose, began his rookie season in the Spring of 2001.

A 1986 graduate of Michigan State University in Telecommunications, Pete played on the Spartan baseball team while attending the University.

Meet Head Coach Pete Rose

With 11 years of coaching experience and a résumé that includes Coaching 4 players to the NJCAA golf tournament, coached a State Tournament Medalist, coached an Eastern Conference Medalist, as well as several Tournament Medalists also, on the Academic side, coached a Distinguished All-American and several All-Americans. Pete Rose enters his tenth season as the head Golf coach at Henry Ford.

During his college days Rose played baseball for Michigan State University. Rose played for MSU for two years from 1983-85. Some highlights include being able to play games at the old Tiger Stadium and Wrigley Field
